Where to eat at Meadowhall this Veganuary

With Veganuary here once again, leading Yorkshire leading fashion and lifestyle destination, Meadowhall, has compiled a handy list of the top vegan spots to dine this month.

Boasting over 50 places to eat and drink in its Oasis Dining Quarter including Three Joes, Wagamama and Yo! under one roof, Meadowhall offers outstanding choice for customers.

Vegan Friendly Dining


Join Yo! on ‘Green Wednesdays’ where all of the ‘plant-y plates’ (that is vegetarian and vegan plates) are only £2.50 each. Perfect for vegetarians, vegans and flexitarians.

Yo! also have a Sushi School every second Tuesday of the month, from 14th January, where visitors can learn the art of making Sushi for just £30 per person. Attendees will learn how to make a variety of sushi and leave with their own creations, a sushi rolling mat a guide to sushi making and a certificate.


Wagamama believe “a lifestyle choice which is meat free, doesn’t have to mean taste free” and the brand’s new vegan menu reflects that belief. With a vegan take on its classic katsu curry and the yummy ‘avant gard’n’ which includes barbecue-glazed seitan. coconut + sriracha vegan ‘egg’, there is so much to choose from at everyone’s favourite east Asian eatery.


There is so much to choose from at Zizzi this Veganuary. From the vegan friendly Rustica and Classic pizza bases, to the ‘beetball’ polpette, Toscana soup to the gold millionaire’s slice.  And what’s more, they also have a drinks menu complete with vegan friendly alcoholic beverages – perfect for those foregoing Dry January!


With choices such as the ‘Up-Beet’ burger, and jackfruit curry, Giraffe is a great place to stop at this Veganuary when you’re hitting the shops.

Three Joes

Meadowhall’s latest addition, Three Joes, specialise in delicious sourdough pizzas and feature a yummy Vegan Barbecue pizza perfect for anyone wanting to give Veganuary a try. With ingredients sourced fresh from suppliers around the country, you can create your perfect pizza sprinkled with vegan cheese. Don’t fancy pizza? The ‘super salad’ is great for those looking to stick to a healthy eating New Year’s resolution too!
