With the Covid-19 restrictions beginning to ease, Yorkshire’s hospitality attractions are on countdown to re-opening on the 12th of April. Not many are as impressive as The Coniston Country Estate & Nadarra Spa in Skipton, however, which is home to award-winning fine dining, a luxury spa, and beautiful accommodation that boasts stunning views of the Yorkshire Dales.
Deep in the heart of a 1,400-acre estate, The Coniston is also home to one of the UK’s best shooting grounds, a 4×4 off-roading experience and a collection of elegant event spaces ideal for all manner of celebrations. In addition it has two self-catering cottages, The Thack and Fogga, which are taking bookings from 12th April. A four-night mid-week stay (Mon – Fri) from 12th April – 16th May is £999.00.
Al fresco dining
Dining out is gearing up to be the new dining in and The Coniston is ready, come rain or shine, with its al fresco dining areas boasting heating, lighting and cover. Blankets are also available if the temperature drops.

What’s more, from 5:30pm on Wednesdays from 12th April visitors can wine, dine and listen to the venue’s live pianist out on the terrace. If a taxi is required then this too can be arranged.
For those looking for something a little different, The Coniston is delighted to announce its brand new spa eatery, Blossom Kitchen. Take to the lake
The hotel’s lake is stocked regularly with hard fighting rainbow trout averaging over 2lbs and has a good population of wild brown trout that spawn in the feeder streams across the Coniston Estate. An abundance of fly life throughout the lake and the fantastic PH levels characteristic of this area, combine to allow the Coniston lake to produce some fantastic sport and quality fish.
