The award-winning Yorkshire-based Sloemotion Distillery has implemented a radical overhaul of its spirits brands, led by new Managing Director, Neil Spiers.
The company has established Sloemotion Distillery as the mother brand with three independent and unique sub-brands sitting underneath this: Hedgerow Spirits, Finders Spirits and Sloemotion Liqueurs.
It has invested in its premium artisan Hedgerow range with the launch of a Hedgerow Botanical Vodka, which has gone on to win ‘Best British Flavoured Vodka’ at the World Vodka Awards 2020, along with the development and launch of a new mid-tier Finders Spirits range of rums, vodkas and gins
Finders Spirits is a new range of mid-tier drinks that focuses on natural botanicals and ingredients sourced from around the world which are skilfully crafted to produce bold and modern flavours. The range of seven drinks are produced and blended at the Yorkshire distillery and look to challenge the traditional silo spirit production by comprising of a mixed range of two rums, three gins and two vodkas. They launch into both on and of trade in April 2020.
This is the first new brand from the award-winning family distillery which is renowned for using foraged hedgerow botanicals in its small-batch gins, vodka and liqueurs. Its ethos remains firmly rooted in protecting the environment and minimising its’ carbon footprint which is why Finders Spirits uses only natural botanicals and ingredients as well as the eco-friendly iStill to develop drinks that taste as good as they look.
Finders Spirits range celebrates the ‘Spirit of Adventure’ and have been developed by Sloemotion’s Master Product Developer, Jan Richards and Head Distiller, Ian Mansell. The flavour profiles are familiar but with a little twist which makes the range feel fresh and on-trend.
The Finders Spirits range includes two rums; Oak Aged Orange & Raisin and Chocolate & Coffee. They use oak-aged botanicals like coriander, nutmeg, cinnamon, orange peel and muscovado in the Orange & Raisin rum and mace and liquorice to create a rich, velvety drink in the Chocolate & Coffee rum.
There are three gins, from a classic London Dry Gin which uses 17 botanicals including lime peel, lemongrass, cassia bark, juniper, coriander, angelica orris, citrus peel and spruce to two fun modern variants which both use 19 botanicals; Fruits of the Forest and a Lemon & Lime flavour.
A zingy Sherbet Lemon Vodka and a clean pure Vodka complete the range.

Finders Spirits are distilled using a low-energy iStill which is highly efficient and minimizes the impact on the planet by using technology and a highly-insulated and internally heated process to improve accuracy and reduce energy use; iStill is the only responsible choice for a modern distillery that wants to reduce its impact on the environment.
Finders will launch into on and off trade and online with a RSP of £25 with a launch promotion of £20 per bottle.
