Hidden above Call Lane Social is one of Leeds’ most unique cocktail bars: the 1950s-inspired, Polynesian paradise Tiki Hideaway! Renowned for its flaming zombies and tiki décor, they’re pulling out all the stops for its sixth birthday party tonight (Monday 5 June). For one night only, one of the world’s best Tiki bars and London celeb-hotspot MAHIKI will be taking over, with Bar Manager, Georgi Radev, showing the cocktail-lovers of Leeds how it’s done!
This one-of-a-kind collaboration marks the milestone of Tiki Hideaway’s six years on Call Lane, a go-to bar destination for weekend drinks in Leeds. Since its opening, Tiki Hideaway has made its mark as a well-known institution, loved for its tropical mix of rum-based cocktails served up in everything from pineapples and coconuts to treasure chests filled with gold coins. It seems only fitting that on their birthday night, Tiki Hideaway will be joined by Leeds Loves Cocktails who will be offering up Pusser’s Rum cocktails for just £5.00 all night. Guests can even try their own hand at shaking up some daiquiris as Tiki Hideaway’s own bartenders will be holding thirty-minute cocktail masterclasses for up to eight people between 6.30-8.30pm with a complimentary birthday drink included – showcasing the thought and creativity that goes into every drink served at Tiki Hideaway.
Just when you thought it couldn’t get any better, guests can also expect fire, dancing, leis and live music from The Cash Cows. It will certainly be a night to remember at one of Call Lane’s most famous bars.
