Whether you’re a Meatball Marinara fanatic, Chicken Tikka obsessive or more of a Steak & Cheese fan, lunch times have just got infinitely better as Just Eat has today (Wednesday 27th June) announced that Subway is trialling delivery at its Leeds site on Albion Street from this week.

The world famous Subs can now be ordered through both the Just Eat app and website, from 31 stores in Leeds, Manchester and London. By the end of the year, Subway in partnership with Just Eat plans to roll out delivery nationwide from over 500 Subway stores across the UK.

Sub fans can order at any time of the day, including weekends, for delivery to a location of their choice.

The arrival of Subway follows in the footsteps of other favourites including KFC and Burger King, which both joined Just Eat last year.

Graham Corfield, UK Managing Director at Just Eat, commented: “We’re excited to welcome Subway to Just Eat, as part of our continued efforts to offer customers more of their favourite food brands at the tap of the app. With more and more people ordering at lunchtime and during the week, having Subway’s Subs available for delivery will be a game changer for sandwich lovers.

“While the rollout will begin in three cities initially, we’re adding more and more stores each week and look forward to people across the UK enjoying their signature Subs and cookies.”

Sacha Clark, Marketing Director Subway UK and Ireland, commented: “We’re delighted to announce the Just Eat delivery trial, making it even easier for our customers to enjoy their Subs, salads and sharing platters anywhere, at any time. We look forward to seeing the results and being able to roll out delivery nationwide.”
