Flight Club, the birthplace of Social Darts, has announced it will be expanding into West Yorkshire on Friday 25th June with the long-awaited opening of its new Leeds venue.
Located at the heart of Leeds city centre on South Parade, the new venue will house 13 oches (darts playing areas) and will have a total guest capacity of 400.
Flight Club Leeds will be the third venue outside of London. Despite being halted by the ongoing lockdown restrictions, Flight Club is now ready to add to its growing portfolio of locations in Manchester and Birmingham. The venue will also include a feature bar with tables for team drinks, birthday parties or just an impromptu night out. Full or partial venue hire options are also available.
With all lockdown restrictions hopefully being lifted on 21st June, what better way to welcome in what feels like a new beginning for us all?
Flight Club’s supercharged version of the traditional game involves a series of multiplayer games using unique patented dart tracking technology designed by Flight Club’s very own astrophysicist. Tournament tech can connect up to 150 players within the venue. Instant scoring eliminates any need for counting and reimagines matches into fast-paced, exciting social experiences.
With all that dart throwing sure to help build up an appetite and a thirst, a seasonal menu full of sharing platters, pizzas, sides and selection of bespoke cocktails will also be available. The venue even has brunch covered too. Like the sound of bottomless pizza and a bottle of prosecco each? Then Flight Club’s Brunch Social, which runs Thursday to Sunday (12-2 and 2:30-4:30), will be the place for you.
CEO, Steve Moore, who co-founded Flight Club alongside Paul Barham, said: “We are delighted to finally announce the upcoming opening of Flight Club Leeds as the next step in our quest to get as many people stepping up to the throwline as possible.
“It’s been a wait and we are thrilled to be sharing our amazing venue with you all at long last! Our venues have brought unexpected, ridiculous, joy to three different UK cities so far and we are confident that the vibrant energy in Leeds makes it the perfect next chapter in the Flight Club story.
“After an incredibly challenging year, we want to bring some much needed joy into the lives of locals with some guaranteed fun!”
Flight Club blends the nostalgia and warmth of a British pub with the energy and excitement of a fairground in its atmosphere and decor. Each venue has a unique set of wall decorations and antiques, carefully selected by Steve Moore and the team, that give each space a feel of authenticity and individuality.
Bookings will go live on Wednesday 11th May and details will be announced on Flight Club social media platforms via @flightclubdarts on Twitter and @flightclubleeds on Instagram.
