North Yorkshire-based Ellers Farm Distillery has launched a brand-new sloe gin, which acts as an addition to its Y-Gin range.
A deep, natural colour with a balanced jammy sweetness gives way to complex flavours of piney juniper, cardamon and warming ginger, finishing with luscious notes of plums, raisins, and a moreish acidic tang.
The one-of-a-kind secret recipe can be ideally paired with a glass of fizz or warmed in a hot toddy.
Distilled on the farm in North Yorkshire, it is produced in small batches of 500, with sustainability always at the heart.
Jamie Baggott, Master Distiller at Ellers Farm Distillery, commented: “We’ve macerated sloe berries for the last six months in anticipation for creating our special Sloe Gin. It’s the perfect time of the year for this tipple, and we hope to play our role in the festivities of households across the UK!”
