LEON confirms opening date for its first ever Drive Thru in West Yorkshire

Naturally Fast Food brand LEON will launch its first ever Drive-Thru restaurant in West Yorkshire next week. Opening on Wednesday 24th November, the new Drive-Thru is located near Morley on the A650 Wakefield Road, close to the M62 and M621 junctions, and will aim to provide a convenient option for more people to eat and live well in line with the brand’s mission to bring Naturally Fast Food to as many people as possible.

Throughout the LEON Drive Thru menu, guests will find exclusive dishes and LEON firsts, with the offer being the most accessible yet including more gluten-free and vegan options.

On the Breakfast menu, which is a completely vegetarian offer and true to LEON’s mission to encourage people to eat well and live well, guests will find simple new favourites such as the Vegan Cumberland Sausage Muffin £3.65 and Egg and Muffin with a choice of LEON brown sauce or LEON ketchup priced at £2.75.

Christmas will also come early to Gildersome as the LEON Drive Thru is launching with the seasonal Christmas menu, a week ahead of the rest of the LEON estate. Guests can try the Blood Orange & Cacao Porridge (£3.25) at breakfast and the vegan sNOw Turk*y Burger (5.75) on the all-day menu. Festive hot drinks include the Marzipan Latte and Cinnamon & Salted Caramel Hot Chocolate (both £3.45). Alongside sweet treats such as the LEON Mince Pie and Pistachio, White Chocolate & Ginger Tiffin.

On the rest of the all-day menu, find all the usual LEON favourites such as Carbon Neutral Burgers, Baked Waffle Fries, Warm Salads and Grilled Wraps, alongside breakfast and lunchtime meal deals.

The Gildersome Drive-Thru site will also host some of LEON’s newest innovations to its Naturally Fast Food offer, including an exclusive collaboration with Karma Soda. The brand has collaborated with Karma Soda to bring to market Karma Soda on draft, providing the first clean, additive-free and ethical draft soda offer. Guests can enjoy Lemony Lemonade, Gingerella Ginger-Ale, Razza Raspberry Lemonade and the iconic Karma Cola flavours (from £1.45). With good karma at the heart of its brand, and commitment to real, organic and fair trade ingredients, LEON sees a natural fit with Karma, proving fast food can be good for you and the planet.

This site will also have a range of NUTurally Vegan Shakes, indulgent flavours include PB&J, Double Chocolate, Cookies & Cream, Very Berry Strawberry, Caffe Frappe (all £3.95).

The Drive-Thru will also focus on family eating and has an expanded children’s menu that includes a ‘pick n mix’ feature allowing children to curate their own meals to their tastes (from £3.45).

LEON is excited to welcome local residents to the new restaurant. As part of the opening celebrations, the very first dine in customer through the Drive-Thru doors will be awarded a £1,000 voucher to spend in the restaurant. The first 100 dine in customers will get a coffee on the house and the first 30 Drive Thru customers each day for opening week will get an iconic breakfast muffin on the house. There will also be goodie giveaways in limited edition LEON tote bags up for grabs. Additionally, guests can sign up to the LEON club to be in with the chance to win £500 to spend in the Gildersome restaurant whilst staying in the loop with exclusive offers and launches.
