Caribbean street food specialist Jerk Junction is now open to the public at Trinity Kitchen in Leeds having launched in party style with 100 prizes given out, alongside a live DJ. Food fans got to ‘spin the wheel’ for the chance to win free meals, sides, drinks and Jerk Junction merchandise when it opened today (Tuesday 12th May). Leeds DJ collective Hypa Crew also played a mix of dance hall, R&B and garage.
Jerk Junction is now serving up mouth-watering dishes, such as flame-grilled jerk chicken, slow-cooked curry goat and tender pepper steak, served with rice and peas and dumplings. Vegetarians and vegans are also well catered for with an absolutely banging chick pea curry and flavoursome steamed veg.

The street food favourite, which is halal, also has sites in Manchester, Liverpool and Wilmslow, and is available on Deliveroo.
Josie Towning, Food and Beverage Manager at Trinity Leeds, said: “There’s been a lot of interest in the arrival of Jerk Junction since it was announced. Bringing a taste of the Caribbean to Trinity Kitchen, it’s the place to be.”

Jake Shaffi, founder at Jerk Junction, added: “We’re all about good vibes and creating dishes that help bring people together. We’re looking forward to bringing the Jerk Junction spirit to Trinity Kitchen. The brand already holds a special place within the communities in Manchester and Liverpool – and we’re sure the people of Leeds will embrace it in the same way.”
The latest announcement follows the recent launches of schuh and LEGO at Trinity Leeds, which will also welcome the UK’s largest independent boutique bowling brand, Lane7, and Footasylum later this year.
