Jamie Oliver surprised fans in Leeds’ Jamie’s Italian today (Tuesday 31st October) to give them a taste of the restaurant’s new Christmas menu. They were also gifted with a signed copy of Jamie’s festive cookbook.
The chef visited the Leeds restaurant, which opened in May 2010 to meet the fans and serve up his favourite dishes from the new seasonal menu, including a succulent Porchetta complete with all the trimmings and an indulgent Christmas Sundae with a caramelised orange and chocolate sauce.
Jamie said: “It’s been amazing to visit Leeds, meet up with my brilliant staff and share a sneaky taste of the festive menu.
“I love this time of year, it’s all about sharing good food and at Jamie’s Italian I think we’ve got something for everyone from my succulent free range Porchetta to a tasty nut roast or the best tiramisu.”
Jamie’s Italian has a selection of Christmas menus available across the UK from 20 November, starting at £19.95 per person. Click here to book and find out more. To celebrate the tour, Jamie’s Italian will be extending its Double Your Drinks offer to 5th November.
