Wave of new summer street food arrives at Trinity Kitchen in Leeds

Trinity Kitchen is welcoming summer with a fresh line-up of street food traders, bringing a variety of global flavours to Leeds for the season ahead.

From authentic Sri Lankan dishes to classic crispy fried chicken, the latest arrivals offer something to suit every taste. The new vendors include Ayubowan, Rico, Chicken Bandits, Fat Cat Bao and Masri, and will be in residence from today (Monday 1st June) for eight weeks.

Fat Cat Bao

Rico joins the line-up with a menu of fusion-inspired dishes, specialising in golden empanadas filled with tender meats, traditional flavours and melted cheese. Ayubowan introduces Sri Lankan cuisine, serving favourites such as Parrippu Vadai, spicy deep-fried lentil and onion fritters, alongside flavour-packed Nasi Goreng topped with chicken, prawn or beef and finished with fresh garlic and chillies.

Chicken Bandits brings Nashville-style fried chicken to the mix, offering burgers, wings and loaded fries. Fat Cat Bao adds an Asian influence, serving soft bao buns filled with chicken or tofu, complemented by pickled onions and tangy sauces.

Returning favourite Masri completes the line-up with Egyptian dishes including koshary, made with pasta, rice vermicelli, lentils and chickpeas in a garlic tomato sauce. The menu also features falafel burgers and ribeye kebabs served with tahini and traditional spices.

In addition to the food offering, Trinity Kitchen will host a fan zone for the upcoming football tournament, opening on 11th June. The space will feature three large screens, a new bar from Northern Monk brewery, live DJs and entertainment, with capacity for up to 1,000 guests. Entry will be free, with the option to book tables for England matches.
