With exciting new fillings, a new naan roll option, a brand new range of freshly made Indian sides, and further additions to the already popular menu, Rola Wala in Leeds Trinity is continuing to bolster its innovative, fast, fresh, balanced and healthy street food offering.
Rola Wala, renowned for its epic Indian-inspired naan rolls, is introducing a brand new option, the Garlic Naan Roll, a welcome addition to the Indian crowd-pleasing naan roll line-up. Alongside this is the introduction of Tikka Tacos. Housed in a five-inch wholewheat roti, the new tacos will come with your choice of freshly made fillings including the all-new pescetarian option; the King Prawn Patia.
For the first time, Rola Wala is introducing an extensive range of sides and sharing options which includes Masala Fries, Garlic Naan, Spicy Grilled Corn, Paneer Strips and onion bhajis with dips amongst other options. These new options are freshly made in-store each day and ready in minutes.
The brand’s mission statement has always been to create customisable meals and a healthier alternative to typical mass-produced fast-food which is often filled with empty calories or high in salt, sugar and fat so it is suitable for the whole family. The new menu additions going live imminently reinforce this statement. As well as the health benefits of a Rola Wala meal, the brand is focused on convenience and value with mains starting from just £5.95, freshly made to order in minutes and available on demand with in-store, click and collect and Deliveroo ordering options. Customers can have their meal their own way with the extensive range of fillings, salads, chutneys and set their spice levels from no-chilli through to the fiery new super hot scorpion sauce.
Coinciding with the new menu items and to celebrate the introduction of classic Indian side options for the first time, Rola Wala has announced a launch offer; Free Side Fridays, where customers who sign up via the Rola Wala website will qualify for a free side from the new menu alongside any purchase of a main meal every Friday in July, starting 1st July.
Rola Wala has had a string of praise from outlets and influential fans as wide-ranging as prestigious restaurant guidebook Zagat who said that Rola Wala is “one of the top five names to know” to pop star Rita Ora, after trying a wrap in London, calling it “London’s best wrap”. Praise has also come from BuzzFeed and chef Rachel Khoo. The restaurant’s food has also appeared on the silver screen in Hollywood feature film ‘Burnt’ which starred A-Lister Bradley Cooper.
Rola Wala also takes part in the One Feeds Two™ programme. For every roll sold at Rola Wala, the restaurant provides a school meal to a hungry child living in poverty. To date, they’ve provided over 750,000 meals.
Mark Wright, Founder of Rola Wala, said: “There’s nothing better than a brilliant onion bhaji, and we’re thrilled to be bringing this and more to Rola Wala Leeds. Inspired by our travels in India including backstreets, beaches, and curry houses across the country, we’ve devised this new range for anybody that wants to enjoy some Indian favourites alongside their Rola Wala, with all sides costing as little as £2.45 for one side, or £3.95 for two with any main, they’re also incredible value.”
