Holy Wrap! World famous The York Roast Co. lands in Leeds!

It’s officially British Wintertime and nothing is going to warm your cockles better than The York Roast Co.’s debut kitchen residency at Leeds’ Northern Monk Refectory…and the release of the ultimate YorkyPud Christmas Wrap.

For the first time ever, the people of Leeds will be able to get their hands on the world famous YorkyPud Wrap in their home city. Spreading the gravy love, the purveyors of the finest hand-carved roast meat sandwiches, roasts, wraps and sumptuous sides are taking their Yorkies to Leeds for three months of pud goodness at Northern Monk Refectory LDS from 5th November until the end of January 2020. The Yorkie goodness will also be available to indulge in at home, via Just Eat and Deliveroo.

The famed original creators of the wrap that broke the internet have brought their classic menu in full force, as well as their highly anticipated YorkyPud Christmas Wrap, throughout the festive season. Made up of freshly roasted turkey, seasonal stuffing, pig in a blanket, mulled cranberry red cabbage, drizzled with thick gravy and wrapped up in a crispy, giant Yorkshire pudding, this festive favourite will be available from mid-November until the end of December. It’s better than anything nestled under the tree this Christmas.

Independent brewery, Northern Monk, will be hosting The York Roast Co. to bring their customers an abundance of roasted deliciousness, paired perfectly with several of the locally brewed beers on offer. Pair a beef, stuffing and horseradish sandwich with the Northern Star Mocha Porter, or a side of roast potatoes and gravy with a pint of Faith. Order up a pork YorkyPud

Wrap alongside a Striding Edge light IPA then wash it all down with Northern Monk’s session IPA, Eternal. The options are endless.

Serving their full menu from 12 – 9/10pm Tuesday – Saturday and 12 – 8pm on Sunday until the new year, it’s time for Leeds to prepare their taste buds for a winter wrapped up warm and smothered in gravy.
