This Christmas, Leeds’ vibrant Latin American-inspired bar and restaurant, Azotea, is inviting guests to celebrate the season with a festive menu full of colour, flavour and warmth. It has turned up the heat with a Menu Festivo that blends bold Latin American flair with seasonal cheer.
From Peruvian-style roast chicken with cranberry chipotle glaze to seared turbot with saffron sauce and chorizo crumb, Azotea’s Christmas offering reimagines traditional festive dining through a Latin American lens. Diners can choose from two or three courses (£42 / £55), available daily from 12pm, complemented by creative sides like papas con mole[EC1] , a dish of potatoes cooked in a rich, complex Mexican mole sauce, along with matcha green beans, and coliflor picante.
As it wouldn’t be the festive season without a sweet finish, desserts range from indulgent chocolate tarte with dulce de leche and banana ice cream to a comforting arroz con leche[EC2] , a rice pudding with cinnamon, often served with lemon or orange zest, alongside a choice of handcrafted winter cocktails. Highlights include the Pisco Místico, a warming blend of herbs, dried fruits, and spices, and the Café con Licor, a Latin American coffee infused with spiced rum.
