With more than 150 entries from all over the world, the 2020 World Liqueur tastings were conducted remotely by an international panel of 14 industry experts.
The range scooped the award for Best Range Design after also receiving gold in this section and its Espresso Gin Cream took silver in the award’s cream liqueur category.
Mike Carthy, co-founder of Carthy & Black, said: “We’re delighted to add another four awards to our brand accolades. Our Lemon Gin Cream has always been a firm favourite for customers as its refreshing yet indulgent – it tastes just like lemon cheesecake! So, we are so pleased it took the top spot out of the English cream liqueur collection. It’s also great to receive acknowledgement for one of our newest flavours, Espresso, which makes a delicious Chocolate and Espresso Martini.”
Launched in 2017, the Carthy & Black range is crafted using high quality, smooth cream and Harrogate’s award-winning Slingsby Gin. Carthy & Black (50cl) is available at Ocado, Amazon, Morrisons and M&S alongside independent retailers at £12 RRP.
